所有寫作考試,幾乎都遵循一個(gè)模式——給出一個(gè)話題(issue),對(duì)于該話題,有正反兩方持不同態(tài)度。考生要么選擇其中的一個(gè)態(tài)度進(jìn)行支持,要么基于給出的兩個(gè)態(tài)度發(fā)展出一個(gè)新的觀點(diǎn)并進(jìn)行論證。ACT考試的話題相對(duì)簡單,一般并不涉及到世界觀(SAT的話題就經(jīng)常涉及較深層次的思考),因此論述不需要特別辯證,一般來講,選擇一個(gè)觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行支持是容易的寫法。請(qǐng)看例題:
