The reason you become a teacher is to see that one moment where you see the improvement that a student has made.

當(dāng)你從學(xué)生的眼睛里看到'我懂了'的神情，那是美妙的時刻。這就是我工作的動力。"

You just have that moment, when you see it in the student’s eyes, that they’ve got it. That’s where my passion comes from.

"犯錯很正常，因為犯錯是學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會。如果你不去犯錯，你就學(xué)不到東西。"

It's OK to make mistakes, because that's how you learn. If you're not making mistakes, you're not learning anything.

"很多人會問：'你什么時候快樂？'我的回答是：'在教室教英語的時候我快樂。'"

People often say to me, ‘when are you happiest?’ I say, ‘when I’m teaching in the classroom.’
